For a while I’ve always wondered how people seem to have their life in order and what could I do to get that way. It was once I started looking at successful people’s morning routines that I noticed this is where the magic sauce was. A morning routine can have so many positive benefits, both physically and mentally, to ensure you have a successful day ahead. I’m always looking for a good recipe to follow so why not have a recipe for your morning success!? Unlike food recipes that can have numerous steps and too many ingredients, I’m keeping this short and sweet.
Benefits of Adding a Morning Routine
While there are many benefits of a morning routine, let me share a handful with you. According to LinkedIn, here are some of the top reasons to incorporate a morning routine into your day.
- Sets the Tone for the Day– if you have a good morning routine you are already putting yourself in the mindset to be successful.
- Increases your Productivity– you’re training your mind to spend your time doing useful activities that are going to propel you forward instead of leaving you stuck.
- Lowers Stress– by adding in the morning routine this will help you see that even if you don’t have as much time as you think, you’re still able to get something impactful done. This will then lead to your body feeling accomplished and the stress will start to lower.
- Boost Energy Levels – by getting up and moving doing impactful things you’re boosting your energy and happiness.
- Improves Confidence – by doing things each day and improving which leads to seeing results, it also is raising your confidence.
So now, let’s dive into the recipe for your morning success!
Ingredients Needed
- Face Roller & Jade Oil
- Fresh Air
- This ingredient is as simple as it gets!
- A Journal and Pen
- Because who doesn’t need a new journal and pen, grab this super cute Journal here.
- Great idea to put on your Christmas list, it’s on mine too..hint hint!
- A Healthy Breakfast
- (2) eggs
- (1) Cup of Spinach
- (¼) avocado
- (1) cup of fruit
Directions
- Wash your face and apply 3-4 drops of the Jade oil on your face. Follow the picture below of the directions on how to use the roller.
- Step outside and get some fresh air. Grab your coffee or tea and go for a stroll around the block. 5 minutes is all you need here.
- Cozy up in a quiet place and grab your pen and journal. Set a timer for 10 minutes and write! I start with 3 things I’m thankful for then 10 things I made happen. (these can be future things that you want to happen but write them as if you already made them happen!) Then whatever time remains, just let the pen flow and let your thoughts get out onto the paper.
- A healthy breakfast is a great way to fuel yourself for the day. I love sauteing up some spinach and then scrambling in some eggs. Top with a ¼ of avocado slices and serve with a side of fruit. Protein, veggies, fruits and healthy fats. If you’re more hungry in the AMs feel free to add a slice of whole grain toast as well! It literally takes 5 minutes, so simple!

Now you have 4 Simple ingredients and steps to start your day off on the right foot. Of course there can even be a few adjustments to this routine. If it’s a beautiful morning out, take your journal and coffee outside and combine steps 2&3. Feel free to swap out your healthy breakfast as well.
