My Top 10 Affirmations for Self-Confidence

Do you ever have those days where you’re just struggling to find anything positive about yourself? It can be tough to keep our self-confidence going strong. So, I wanted to share with you the power of using affirmations to keep you feeling motivated and ready to take on any challenge that you may be facing. Here are my top 10 affirmations for self-confidence.

What is Self-Confidence? 

Self-confidence means trusting in your own judgment, capacities and abilities. It’s about valuing yourself and feeling worthy, regardless of any imperfections or what others may believe about you. Unfortunately, there are many people who are second guessing themselves and thinking they’re not good enough. I’ve been there and it’s not fun! (Some days I’m still there) I decided something needed to change because having a pity party for myself just wasn’t the party I wanted to be part of. After learning from some amazing mentors, there was a constant thing they kept saying they did daily to get their minds right. Read or listen to personal development daily AND repeat positive affirmations to themselves. 

Why You Should Use Affirmations Daily

  • Prepares you for the change you’re experiencing in life
    • Life can be rough, especially in the world today, things are always changing that we don’t have control over. Getting your mindset right will help you navigate through difficult times.
  • Crushes your limiting beliefs
    • You begin a new hobby and you want to turn it into a career, but why would someone take you seriously? Thousands of others have done it before you, what makes you special? Crush those limiting beliefs with your affirmations!
  • Creates Positivity in your life
    • Sprinkle your affirmations throughout the day to always keep your life leaning towards the positive route. Once you get into the habit of repeating these affirmations to yourself you’ll be surprised how you start to view the world and experiences in a more positive way that are now serving you.

How To Use Affirmations

  • Place them where you can see them daily 
    • Sticky notes work wonders here! Place them on your bathroom mirror, computer or on the fridge. Make a cute design and print it out to frame and create a wall of affirmations in your office. Make it your phone background (we know you’re looking at that often throughout the day!)

  • Write them down in your morning journal 
    • Personally, I love to write down 3 things I’m grateful for each morning. It pushes my mind in the right direction of gratitude. To enhance this, I also write down 5-10 affirmations. The process of physically writing things down has such a powerful effect.
